Sermons on Praising the Lord
Sermons preached specifically on singing praises to the Lord.

Note that the first full phrase in Psalms 68:4 includes... sing praises to his name.  Christians these days certainly seem to be aware of the words sing praises, yet many ignore the last three words to his name.
People today must see in Psalm 68:4 that these praises can only be sung TO HIS NAME, yet according to the Holy Scriptures, a lost person can not sing to his name until he is willing to first call upon his name.  But in these days, it appears that more and more Christians - KJV folks, as well, seem to have forgotten that they called upon his name as they now tend to sing to their own name, in other words, to their own flesh.  So much for calling upon his name and singing praises to his name!
More and more Bible Believers along with the modern Christian crowd concern themselves with music that is leading people
after their flesh.  We know people can't present CCM, etc. to the Lord, but can we really 'present' this modern Southern hillbilly praise music to his name?  Would you want Jesus Christ to 'sway' with you - to holler and jump to the banjo - tap the foot to the upbeat, etc.  Do you want Jesus Christ to go 'after the flesh' with you, too?

I encourage you to read ALL of these verses that deal specifically with praise 'before' you come to any opinionated 'conclusion' about your "praise music.
